The wine was barrel aged for 32 months in 100% new French oak and then bottle aged for another 6 months. This complex Cabernet represents our best fruit and barrel program from McGrail Vineyards.
Our 2010 James Vincent Cabernet is our premiere Cabernet from McGrail Vineyards. We take great pride in crafing our most prestigious Cabernet the James Vincent. This wine is aged exclusively in French oak barrels for 30 months and then bottle aged for a minimum of 10 months before release.
The 2011 James Vincent has an entrancing dark garnet color; the aromas pop with cherry, cassis, blackberry, raspberry and hints of vanilla. On the palate this wine offers an intricate blend of baking spice, clove, and ripe fruit. The tannins are elegant and smooth, but linger with a hint of dark chocolate.

A spectacular vintage and a wonderful follow up to our Sweepstakes Winning Cabernet Sauvignon. Our 2009 McGrail Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has notes of dark cherry, chocolate, vanilla, and hints of tobacco.
Our 2010 Reserve Cabernet spends 32 months in oak: a blend of French, American, and Hungarian oak. Approximately 70% new oak is used each vintage. The aromas jump out of the glass and you might notice dark fruit, earthy components, cherry, and cassis. As you swirl the wine in your mouth, you will notice hints of tobacco, anise, and dark fruit. This wine finishes strong with well developed tannins.
The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve has a deep red/purple hue and has notes of cassis, plum, and dark cherry. This elegant wine is sure to please with a combination of dark fruit, toasted marshmellows, and a finish that lingers.
